AVALANCHE CLASS IN EARLY FEBRUARY

Snowy Range Ski Patrol is offering an Avalanche Level 1 Class to the general public Feburary 2 through February 14.  Also a great refresher for those that may have this certification.  Details are in our forum.

UPDATE ON THE SUN VALLEY TRIP IN FEBRUARY
Our trip to Sun Valley is quickly approaching, and here are the most recent updates:  The price for this 4 night trip is now $270 per person in a 3 bedroom condo.  Other rooming options and prices are available; check with Linda for the option that works best for you.

Also, please note that there is no bus transportation for this trip, so you are responsible for your own transportation to and from Sun Valley.  Some members are choosing to fly, others are choosing to drive, so choose the option that works best for you, and we will all meet in
Hailey on Feb 25 for dinner.

This 4 night Intermountain Ski Council trip, which dates from February 25-March 1, promises to be lots of fun.  An itinerary is currently being prepared and will be sent via email to those who have signed up prior to February 25.

See Linda 256-7535 to purchase your spot on the trip or purchase lift tickets.

HALF PRICE AT COPPER, WP, MONARCH, POWDERHORN
They're at it again!  Selected Shell Stations throughout Colorado are repeating their
voucher offer.  Here's how it works. With a ten gallon fuel purchase,
you can request a voucher for a free adult ticket with purchase of another at the
ticket window.  Watch out -- there are some blackout dates. For instance, you can't
use Copper during our Spring Fling trip in late March.
All the details are at SkiFreeDeals.com

this page
Recent posts include the Red Lion Ski Club newsletter, news on how to win a
cat-skiing adventure in Utah, and lodging specials we've received at
the club's email that we've re-posted for your use.

There's simply no easier way to enjoy a ski or snowboard weekend than to join the Cheyenne Ski Club.  Our alpine trips are usually on chartered bus to a downhill resort, so all you need to do is sign up, then show up at the bus with your gear.  We'll handle the driving and accommodations for you, and even provide some tips on getting the best lift ticket prices.

Our Nordic program continues to gain in popularity, and these smaller, more intimate trips tend to fill rather quickly.  With group cooking and carpooling, they have a distinctly different feel than do the alpine trips.

Please note that we're utilizing a new signup system for the alpine trips to assist both the membership and the trip captains.  Read about it here.

It's promises to be a great season, and we still have lots of space available on our trips.  Check out our calendar to get our dates and destinations.  Our meetings will generally be at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 507 West 28th Street on the first and third Thursdays of each month (November through April), but occasionally we'll move to another site, or even to another day. We'll keep you up to date on this page as things develop.
