Cheyenne Ski Club joins the Intermountain Ski Council

and the Far West Ski Association

The Cheyenne Ski Club (CSC)  is proud to announce that it has joined the Intermountain Ski Council,

which is also a member of the Far West Ski Association.

You ask, what is the council, and what does it mean to me?  Well, first let me explain that the

council is made up of ski and sports clubs in Colorado, Utah, Idaho and now Wyoming.

The association is comprised of 170 ski clubs with a combined membership

of 50,000 members. As a member of the CSC, you can participate in any of

the club trips or activities offered by any affiliated ski club of the Far West Ski Association.

This is an exciting new opportunity for us, and we invite you to learn more by browsing

below, the website for the Far West Ski Association www.fwsa.org, and the Intermountain Ski Council website www.intermountainskicouncil.com

Have you ever dreamed of skiing in the French or Italian Alps, Germany or Austria, but just

didn’t know how to go about organizing it?  Well, the Far West Ski Association does all the work,

and offers a European trip every year.  Now that we have become members, you and your

friends can join the group and for a reasonable price, become adventurous and ski someplace

new while making new friends.  This year the foreign trip is to Austria with an add-on trip to Prague.

Is a Greek island tour more to your liking?  The association’s trip this fall visits Athens,

Rhodes, Crete, Santorini and Mykonos with an optional extension to Turkey.

This ski season the council is offering a domestic trip to Sun Valley, Idaho.  Let us do the driving; your

decision is whether to stay in a condo or a hotel room.   The great trip is planned

from February 25 to March 1, 2010.

If you are interested in Sun Valley, or any of the council or association trips, contact Linda Scott, our council representative, for further details.
